1. Introduction

Rise Financial Group AG ("Rise", "we", "us", or "our"), registered under CHE-276.208.367 and domiciled in Stans, Switzerland, is the parent company of the Rise group. The group currently includes:

• Rise Financial Group AG (Switzerland) — parent company, group governance and oversight
• Rise Technologies Oy (Finland, Business ID 3512553-2) — develops and operates the Rise platform and provides the accounting service

This Privacy Policy covers both:

• our marketing website at risegroup.eu (the "Website"), and
• the Rise platform and accounting service (the "Service")

We are committed to processing your personal data in compliance with:

• EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR, Regulation (EU) 2016/679)
• Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP / nDSG)
• Finnish Data Protection Act (Tietosuojalaki, 1050/2018)

2. Our two roles

This is the most important thing to understand about how we handle data, so we put it first.

We are the controller for data about you as a visitor, a prospect, and a user of our Service — your account, your contact details, how you use the platform. This policy describes that processing.

Rise Technologies Oy is the processor for the accounting data you put into Rise — your receipts, invoices, payroll records, and bank transactions, including the personal data of your employees and business partners. There, you are the controller and your service agreement is with Rise Technologies Oy. That processing is governed by the Data Processing Agreement in that agreement, not by this policy. Rise Financial Group AG acts as a subprocessor for group administration.
